We've heard all of these things before, but do we really know what they look like in our classrooms? During this session, teachers will learn WHY its important to incorporate SEL and Community Builders and then they will learn by doing! Additionally, each participant will leave with a set of materials they can use in their classrooms in the Fall.

Participants will learn about HCPS Secondary Science safety resources and processes to support students' science inquiry in lab investigations. This is a required session for all science teachers with 0-3 years of experience.

Student self direction of learning is at the heart of the Henrico Learner Profile(HLP). Come be introduced to a process for students to reflect on their development of the Science and Engineering Practices through the lens of the HLP. Participants will learn about the process and support each other in ways to implement in their classroom.
