Hear from Katie Pollock about how she utilizes Flashbacks with her Algebra 1 students at Hermitage HS to spiral review and help students maintain or attain proficiency across various skills.
The best journeys involve self-discovery, learning new skills, and a developing a sense of ownership. In this session we’ll look at how to set up opportunities for students to experience all of those and much more. Using pre/post assessments, “I can” statement checklists with example problems, unit itineraries, student collaboration, and mastery grading practices, students and teachers share the journey racing toward mathematical reasoning and understanding.

Specific lessons from Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Probability, and Trigonometry/Precalculus will be included.
